Grow Hope connects urban and rural communities to share in the risk and reward of farming in Saskatchewan
Grow Hope Saskatchewan brings Canadians together to end global hunger. Together they share in the risk and reward of farming in Canada and around the world.
Become a virtual farmer and support those in need with emergency food and long-term food security.
1. Farmers in Saskatchewan generously agree to donate land to grow crops for Grow Hope Saskatchewan.
2. Supporters like you can sponsor the growth of a crop by donating to help cover the costs of farming. It costs up to $350 per acre to provide seed, fertilizer, fuel, and other things needed.
3. After harvest, the farmers sell the crop and donate the proceeds to Canadian Foodgrains Bank (CFGB), which can be as much as $600 per acre or more! Crop proceeds that are used to provide emergency food assistance may be matched up to 4:1 through CFGB’s partnership with Global Affairs Canada.
Will you help sponsor an acre of land, and plant a seed of hope for those most vulnerable?
