Messiah Lutheran Church is celebrating 125 years!

Lets grow hope - one acre at a time!

Lake Chad has shrunk by 90 % in our lifetime, turning once-fertile fields into dust. Through CLWR’s Friends of Creation campaign we can help turn that story around. Join us in honouring Messiah's incredible history and sharing our legacy of God's love with those in the Lake Chad basin.

Our goal: restore 200 acres (≈ [$10,000) by December 31, 2025. Every $50 sponsors one acre, thanks to matching from the Government of Canada—funding drought-smart crops, clean water systems, and tree planting led by local Lutheran partners.
