Halifax Lutheran Church is growing hope—one acre at a time
Lake Chad has shrunk by 90 % in our lifetime, turning once-fertile fields into dust. Through CLWR’s Friends of Creation campaign we can help turn that story around.
Our goal: Helping to restore 30 acres (≈ [$1500]) . Every $50 sponsors one acre, thanks to matching from the Government of Canada—funding drought-smart crops, clean water systems, and tree planting led by local Lutheran partners.
Every half acre of land we get transformed helps us towards our goal, and helps the people of Lake Chad fight back to save their ecosystem!
