Bethany Lutheran Church in Woodstock is growing hope- one acre at a time

Lake Chad has shrunk by 90% in our lifetimes, turning once-fertile fields into dust. But through CLWR’s Friends of Creation campaign, we can help turn that story around!

Thanks to matching funds from the Government of Canada, just $50 rescues an acre of farmland around Lake Chad—providing seeds, water, and training for families to thrive again.

Our Goal: Restore 100 acres (=$5000) by December 31, 2025.

Every half acre of land we get transformed helps us towards our goal, and helps the people of Lake Chad fight back to save their ecosystem!
