About Safe Haven for Refugees

Safe Haven for Refugees Peterborough is a grassroots group focused on refugee sponsorship. We help bring people from war-torn parts of the world to Peterborough, where they can begin a new chapter.

The Campaign

Our Gaza campaign is a new initiative alongside that work. It gives our community another way to respond with compassion: helping families who urgently need support where they are.

We are partnering with Canadian Lutheran World Relief (CLWR) to fundraise for a major healthcare & food-assistance imitative. The project aims to help more than 1,200 highly vulnerable households in Gaza, supporting children and families.

How you can help

Wear - Share - Give

2) Share - Start a conversation by telling friends, neighbours and people you meet about the campaign and our partnership with CLWR.
